Today at 10:30 a.m., The Hawks faced an unfortunate defeat to St. Paul’s Lions at the boys varsity basketball Finals. Despite the efforts of EABH’s very well trained team, St. Paul’s brought along intimidatingly tall players that made their defense extremely difficult to overcome. Multiple shots would linger at the hoop but hardly ever go in to touch the net, and consequently ended up in the Lions’ hands again. The Hawks were at a disadvantage from the first quarter of the game (03x07), but persisted till the end (17x39). Even if the outcome of the Finals was not the most ideal for EABH, the basketball team maintained an impressive winning streak throughout this season of ISSL guaranteeing themselves the second place, and qualifying for Nationals in December.
