4 teams remain. Only one will win. And every match gets better and better. We are talking about the NBA playoffs. For those who do not know, NBA stands for National Basketball Association. Here, 30 different teams compete for a spot at the top of the table. The teams that stay on top have a chance to go to a tournament called the playoffs, and if you win, just know that you have accomplished one of the biggest achievements a human being can fulfill. It is like a normal tournament but you always have to remember one thing: anything can happen.
While playing the regular matches/post-season, 16 teams (Suns, Grizzlies, Warriors, Mavs, Jazz, Nuggets, Timberwolves, Pelicans, Heats, Celtics, Bucks, 76ers, Raptors, Bulls, Nets, and the Hawks) qualified for the playoffs. An exceptional feat to attain, as many teams did not qualify.. Now that these teams reached the playoffs, they had no time to waste. The games started and from 16 teams, we are now down to 4 teams remaining. These 4 teams include the Warriors, Mavs, Celtics, and the Heats. Before continuing to explain about the playoffs, let's talk a bit more about these teams.
First, the Mavs. The Mavs have only won 1 championship trophy and have only reached the final 2 times. Currently, the Warriors are playing them, and they have the one and only Luka Doncic. He is one of the best shooters remaining in the playoffs and is overall a great player who plays for the Mavs. By the time you are reading this, the Warriors could be through, but so can the Mavs. As I said, anything can happen. Another team currently playing in the playoffs are the Heats. The Miami Heats have already won the championship 3 times and have been to the finals 6 times. They finished in #1 place in the postseason and have one of the best teams in the playoffs. But there might be one time called the Golden State Warriors who could beat them in the finals. The Warriors team has already won the playoffs 6 TIMES and has also reached the final 10 TIMES. As if this wasn't enough, they have one of the greatest, may I say THE GREATEST shooter of all time, Stephen Curry on their team. In my opinion, I think they will destroy the remaining teams in the playoffs. With their deadly starting lineup and their amazing stars, this should be a walk in the park. But it might not be that easy. A team that could stop them might be the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics have won the playoffs a whopping 17 TIMES and have been to the finals 21 TIMES already. They also have a very good team and could win against the favorites Warriors and reach the finals. Like I said, by the time you are reading this, you will probably know who is in the finals. My guess is Warriors vs the Celtics. But who knows? Anything could happen in this playoff.
In the end, this playoff until now has been huge. With stars playing on the court every week, they give us a show every time they step on the court. Who knows, maybe one of them could lead their team to the final. With that being said, basketball can be full of plot twists, so you should never be sure of what will happen. All of the teams have a great chance to reach the finals, so let's wait to see who will be the champion of the 2022/2023 NBA Playoffs!
