The atmosphere was electric as the EABH Hawks prepared for their match against The British School of Rio de Janeiro’s Falcons. Their spirit was high and filled with anticipation. During their warm-ups, the players were visibly full of energy confident that the victory was guaranteed.
The Falcons dominated the first half, leading by 4-0 by the halftime whistle. Despite the score, the Hawks maintained their team spirit, cheering each other on and showing what it means to be a team. Goalkeeper Gabriela Muzzi (x) had a rough time, with numbers of goals let in. Regardless of that, her teammates were very supportive, offering encouragement and support throughout.
Laura Calixto (17), scored the first goal in the second half and appeared to have lit a flame in her teammates. Following her lead, Emanuelle (19) scored, lifting the spirits of the team with every move. To everyone's surprise (or perhaps not) Laura Calixto (17) scored once again, bringing the score to 4-3.
The second half represented an entirely different team, fearless and in sync. Despite the final score ending with a loss, the Lady Hawks left the field with their heads high, having demonstrated remarkable determination and resilience.
