Day 4: FIRST VICTORIES, FINAL GAMES

In the futsal final, EABH entered with focus and discipline, building their play through strong defense and patient attacking plays. After several early attempts, Rafa Tinti opened the scoring, setting the tone for a composed performance. Even after OLM equalized, the Hawks responded immediately, with Luigi scoring twice, both moments reflecting the team’s chemistry and control, to close the first half 3–1.

The second half brought pressure, but also clarity. As OLM pushed forward, EABH answered with precision, with Heitor stepping up to score two crucial goals, each assisted by Luigi, and Filipe adding the final touch to secure the lead. Supported by consistent defensive efforts from Massi, the Hawks closed the match 6–4, delivering when it mattered most. The school couldn’t be prouder of our outstanding Hawks, bringing home a trophy that recognizes their efforts!

That same composure carried into the volleyball final, where every point held weight. From the start, 

Brunna set the tone with strong serving, while Nina and Alice contributed with smart ball placement in a tightly contested opening. As the match developed, Julia Jorge became a decisive presence, consistently converting key attacks, while Summer and Julia Ribeiro controlled the net with important blocks that shifted momentum in EABH’s favor. The first set closed at 25–21, reflecting control under pressure.

In the second set, that control turned into confidence. Brunna once again led from the service line, breaking a tied scoreline and forcing EARJ out of rhythm, while the team maintained consistency in both attack and defense. With each point, EABH moved closer to history, and when the final attack landed, the result was clear.

EABH is the first-ever AASB volleyball champion, closing the tournament with performances that reflected not only skill but also composure, connection, and the ability to rise in the moments that define a team.
