Against EAR, EABH stepped into a match where momentum never stayed still, and every second carried weight. From the start, defensive strength defined the Hawks’ presence. Rafa Tinti stood firm at the back, reading plays and stopping advances before they could develop. At the same time, the attack showed intensity; PL and Luigi pushed forward with aggression, forcing EAR to stay alert.

Moments of brilliance followed with Filipe creating space through an incredible dribble, driving toward goal with confidence. He mirrored that energy on both ends of the court, combining strong defensive actions with dangerous offensive runs. However, the balance shifted, and a goal slipped past Massi, breaking the rhythm. The response, however, was immediate. Filipe answered with an impressive dribble and a decisive finish, restoring belief and bringing EABH back into the game.

The match grew more physical. Rafa, Filipe, and PL built attacking plays, but chances narrowly missed their target. Filipe dazzled again with another run, yet the final touch escaped him. Opportunities were there, but not all converted. EAR capitalized with a defensive lapse allowing them to score again, exposing a moment of fragility . Still, Massi responded with crucial saves, including a powerful long-range stop that kept the team within reach.

Tension escalated as Tinti received a yellow card after a tough challenge, forcing a substitution as Luiz entered the game. The energy did not drop, and he immediately contributed with aggressive defensive transitions into attack. By the end of the second quarter, EAR held a 1-0 lead, but the game was open, with everything still to play for, so the Hawks didn’t even think about giving up.

The second half demanded resilience. Luigi delivered key defensive moments, while Massi produced back-to-back saves that kept EABH alive. A foul gave EABH an opportunity, but the goalkeeper defended Luigi’s attempt after a clever fake from PL.

Substitutions reshaped the team, as Lockz was back, bringing back energy. Defensive discipline grew stronger, as Heitor, Luigi, and Lockz stepped up with crucial interventions. Then came the breakthrough: a perfect steal from Filipe created momentum. Heitor saw the opportunity, and Lockz finished it. It was a powerful, precise goal, perfectly assisted, leveling the match at 1-1.

This bold and precise move threatened EAR, as they pushed forward with a “goleiro linha”, bringing their goalkeeper into attack and increasing pressure. Massi responded with composure, even saving a penalty under immense tension. Rafa Tinti stole the ball in a critical moment but couldn’t convert. The final minutes were relentless. Save after save from Massi, defense after defense from the team; but pressure builds even against the strongest resistance.

With just 8 seconds left, EAR executed a quick passing play: a “tabela” that broke through our walls, resulting in the final goal. A 2-1 loss that didn’t fully capture the fight, the resilience, or the unity shown on the court, because sometimes, the difference shown between victory and defeat isn’t effort, it’s time. But let’s be honest, no loss will ever define what our Hawks are: strong, determined, and extremely feisty.
