Our Hawks never fail to show us their eagerness in every single game; the competition as a team and individually. Against GRADED, EABH faced a game where control was constantly slipping, and composure became the real challenge.

The first half started with our Hawks usual aggression and determination; it’s just the way they mark their presence on the field. Our great barrier, Massi, used all of his might and did amazing saves after GRADED tried scoring back to back.

At one point, during the aggressiveness, Heitor reached the ball and pressured his markee with boldness, resulting in the team trying to force a foul on us and swung his arm in our Hawk’s direction, trying to harm him. However, Heitor maintained his composure with resilience; his calmness was inspiring and saved our team from a yellow card. This small sacrifice and thoughtful decision opened new doors for our EABH athletes.

The second half carried immense energy, the kind that could rattle any team if not focused enough. The scoreline no longer told the full story; every play was heavier, every decision sharper. Number 7, Rafael Tinti, broke through with an incredible shot, a moment that reminded everyone what EABH is capable of. Behind the plays, Massi stood strong. His defense was precise and composed, keeping the team alive during moments that could easily unravel.

But the match shifted. An injury to our number 8 interrupted the system, accompanied with the aggression and pressure our team was under, resulting in a foul that changed the play. GRADED seized the moment, a penalty converted and a goal followed; just like that the balance tilted.

The game grew personal and physical. Fouls accumulated on both sides, each one adding to the tension already present on the field. Number 13, Filipe Duarte, stepped up defensively, delivering crucial interventions, including a perfectly executed defensive foul that prevented further damage. Still, the pressure was visible. EABH looked momentarily unbalanced, the weight of rivalry and expectation shifting our team. Across the field, GRADED refused to back down, they played with intensity and determination.

At one point, our Hawks committed a foul, but not out of desperation; it was a decision to help protect our goalkeeper, a moment that reflected unity. The entire team stood behind him, a reminder that even in difficult matches, trust remains unbroken.

Opportunities came, but not all found their way through. Luigi struck from midfield, a bold attempt that carried hope, but the goalkeeper was ready, denying the chance. And in the end, that was the story of the match; effort without reward. Moments that almost shifted everything, but didn’t.

The ball slipped from our hands, but not from lack of fight. Massi gave everything, as did the rest of the team. The final score, 2 - 5, does not fully capture the resistance, the intensity, or the character shown on the field.
