Early Game, Strong Finish: Hawks Overcome EAR Eagles

At 8:00 am, the EABH Hawks took the court for an early morning showdown against the Escola Americana de Recife Eagles. The stand was filled up to the brim on the Eagles’ side, while the only person cheering from the Hawks’ side was Joshua Durchfort, the boy’s soccer team goalkeeper. Despite the overwhelming chants from the opposite team, the Hawks remained confident, showing no sign of nervousness.

The boys started off strong, quickly scoring the first points. However, the Eagles found their rhythm, pushing the Hawks to persist. Pedro Mourão (9) responded by hitting two important three-pointers, keeping the team in advantage. The opposing team couldn't get past the Hawks, every time their score came close, the Hawks maintained in the lead. Which was expressed well by Pedro Luiz (13) when he scored a three pointer.

Their resilience and focus paid off, as they secured a well deserved victory!
