OPENING CEREMONY 2

The second half of this semester’s AASB national tournament had a remarkable start, featuring a meaningful opening ceremony that introduced the first-ever AASB volleyball and futsal tournament. 

Brazilian and American national anthems marked the beginning of a ceremony that brought together years of experience from players across the country into a single tournament, opening a new chapter in the trajectory of sports at NR. Videos featuring athletes from over fourteen different schools highlighted the diversity and scale of this tournament, building anticipation for what it is about to become while setting the stage for the Hawks to make history.  

For the Hawks, taking part in this tournament represents more than just competition; being included in the first edition means contributing to something entirely new, where each game helps define its future. Senior athletes, in particular, are about to experience a unique moment as this season marks the final chapter in their journeys as athletes at EABH. However, this does not take away their sense of belonging within the school community. After all, once a Hawk, always a Hawk. 

Although brief, this ceremony marked the start of something larger than just a single event. Now, the focus shifts to the courts, where this new chapter will truly come to life.
