To understand these matches we have to analyse these teams and their route to the semi-finals.

First Bayern Munich, widely considered tournament favorites, are looking to get their 7th champions league trophy, tying AC Milan for second place in the ranking of teams with most trophies in the competition. With the help of their star players this season, Michael Olise and Harry Kane, both ballon d'or contenders the German team have beaten the likes of Atalanta and Real Madrid in the playoffs. This is nothing short of impressive as the Spanish team has a history of tradition in the competition and are always a tough match.

Across the city from Bayern's last adversary lies their next opponent, Atletico Madrid. The Spanish team known for their strong defensive tactics often nicknamed ”haram-ball” or ”parking the bus”, Diego Simeone's team are looking to beat Arsenal and advance to the finals. The star players that have led Atletico's playoff run have been Julian Alvares, Alexander Sorloth and the legendary Antoine Griezmann, beating Tottenham and their country rivals Barcelona. The team from the Spanish capital is actively searching for an underdog story, and Arsenal to reach the final and compete for their first ever win in the Champions League.

Like Atletico Madrid, another team looking to get their first ever Champions League trophy. Arsenal, W the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel and Viktor Gyokeres, the team has a strong squad and is looking to beat the Spanish team and advance to the finals. After beating Bayer Leverkusen and Sporting, Arsenal has had what many have called a ”Mickey mouse run”, with easy opponents, but Atletico Madrid pose their largest threat yet.

The last team in the Semi Finals is the reigning champion, Paris Saint German. The French team counted with the Ballon d'or winner, Dembele, and the Georgian Kvachakhelia to beat the favorites and chase their second trophy. After defeating Chelsea and Liverpool, PSG go on to face their toughest opponent yet, Bayern Munich, a fight between giants for the trophy of the largest club competition in Europe.
